A new school council has been elected for Ridge Hill, the students at Pensnett looked through all of the application forms and decided who should be the representatives this year. We have held an initial meeting to introduce the new members to each other and our next meeting will be to discuss the LPPA.(Leading Parent Partnership Award)

Pupils at Post 16 looked at the LPPA powerpoint and discussed how families are supported by school already. They were asked how they thought that families could be further supported. Four pupils responded to that question.
Thomas said that his nan could do with help when writing/signing letters for him.
Owen said that he would like help to be able to get more respite.
Meghan said that families might need help with money matters.
Daniel said he wants more iPods for music.
